2009 has been an eventful year for the silly girl.
After having done her recap for 2009 (click here for a look at her recap), the Silly Girl thought that she could ’close her 2009 chapter’ and move ahead with the new year…
Unknown to her , those cosmic powers above had separate plans for her. And so on the last day of 2009, they decided to open up her closet once again and remove the last bits of skeletons.
And she is thankful. that this happened…
Thankful for she realised the final closure of this chapter of her life without any reaction nor emotion. However, that being said, she is still thankful for these experiences as she realised the importance of her family and friends. More importantly she realised what are the things in life that would truly make her happy.
And now, she can finally close the chapter on 2009 and move ahead with 2010. Have yourself a great new year ahead, folks.
It didn’t seem so long ago, when the silly girl and her friends would go to Mambo Jumbo nights during the university days. And they relived those days once again at Mambo Jumbo tonight. It was awesome fun!
The people might have changed but those young at heart will always enjoy this place. Hahaha… And no, we don’t look a day past 22 years old.
The Silly Girl met up with 2 good friends this afternoon and she was given a simple lesson on love and it goes this way :
As a man, you would want to find a woman whom you love dearly. This is to ensure that you do not stray after marriage. As a woman, you would want to marry someone who loves you dearly. It is important for a woman to have a happy marriage.
When you put one and one together, that’s what we would call a happy union.
If you were me, would you agree with the above thoughts?
The Silly Girl met her ex-colleagues and good friends today for our annual gathering. And this time, it was a nice poh piah session at HL’s place.
Yes folks, you heard me right. Lovely home-made poh piah, which was made a very talented chef, Carol. And yes, we definitely had a good time just chatting, laughing and eating throughout a rather cool and lovely evening.
After a long wait, Jo and Terence finally got married today!
Well, this is a day that I have been waiting for a very long while, and the Silly Girl is just glad to be part of the sisters helping out Jo (my very good friend and primary school mate from MGS) on her special day. And what made the evening even more special was the meeting of our secondary school teachers, as well as classmates over the years…. And yes, all noise and hell broke loose when you put the tables of ex-MGS Girls and MGS Teachers table side by side.
I mean, there has to be a reason why we are called infamously THE MGS Girls.
